What "fake Chanel Classic Flap 31" refers to
Chanel does not sell a bag named "Classic Flap 31." The number 31 is a width in centimeters. Replica sellers use centimeter widths to label stock. Chanel labels the Classic Flap by name, not by number.
The 31 cm figure matches the 2.55 Reissue 227, a modern take on the 1955 bag. The Classic Flap line runs at 20 cm, 23 cm, 25.5 cm, 30 cm, and 33 cm. A 31 cm Classic Flap is not part of that sequence. Chanel also sells a "Chanel 31" bag, a tote from 2018 named after 31 rue Cambon. That bag is not a flap.
