1. Hardware engraving

2. Hardware weight and finish
Genuine Antigona and Pandora strap hooks are brass based. One full-size clasp weighs about 20 to 30 grams. Fakes use zinc alloy. The same clasp weighs 10 to 15 grams. Brass also holds a cool feel in the hand longer than zinc.
Plating on real hardware is even. Look inside the swivel ring. Fakes show pitting and a yellow tint on gold plate.
3. Stitching
