Count the stitches per inch along the trim, and check that the spacing does not wander near the corners. Edge paint should be one clean pass, not thick and lumpy. Shape
The Alizé PM has a slight taper and rounded corners. Bad replicas come out too square, too deep, or with a zip opening that swallows the top edge. Measured dimensions matter more than stated ones.

- What are the actual measured dimensions of the unit you will ship?
- Are the photos of the exact unit, or a stock set from an earlier run?
- What happens if the zipper snags or the edge paint cracks in the first month?
Where the legal line sits
In the United States, selling counterfeit goods is trademark infringement under the Lanham Act, and shipments are subject to seizure at import by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Personal use carries a different risk profile than reselling, but importing a counterfeit is still seizable, and passing a replica off as genuine is a separate problem from owning one.
