The short answer

The triangle logo is the fastest tell

Prada hardware is solid and heavy for its size. Zippers are usually Lampo, with the name stamped into the metal rather than printed. Feel the strap hardware and the clasp on the detachable pouch that comes with the Re-Edition 2005. Loose, tinny clips and a strap that slips under weight point to a replica. Smell, weight, and price
