Leather, hardware, and strap
Hermes uses named leathers: Togo, Epsom, Clemence, Swift, and Box calf, plus exotic skins. Hardware comes in gold, palladium, and permabrass. Replica sellers reuse the same leather names. The name does not confirm the skin. On many replicas the strap grain, thickness, or color does not match the bag body. Strap drop changes with size and with how the seller measures it. Ask for the number in centimeters and inches before you pay.
